Dogs power of scent is much much more than ours, so maybe she can scent? I have no idea though. I do know dogs can detect dead bodies in deep water. My only thought is that she might recognise body language/shape with the minimal sight she has.

No unfortunately, she has two old dogs and works 6 hours a day and has a very cold house! I thought she wouldn't be working still but has to go on until she is 67. One of the dogs from Romania has Brucellosis Canis, so she cannot go there after all.
