I finally managed to get a poo sample when Reubs had been on the diet for five days and Sue rang me this morning . The good news is that it now looks normal with no trace of blood , bacteria or parasites . The advice is to now stop the omeprazole and watch him closely . If the black poo returns...

Deleriously happy this morning when my big boy finally did a poo on the garden ! I have been endeavouring to get a sample for the Vets and he just wasnt playing the game . Yesterdays effort saw me clambering down a bank to retrieve the poo, only to disturb it and see it roll into the old canal ...
