Baby Day Care - Doggy type.

My son, daughter in law and grandson have a Cockerpoo called Nina. She's about 4 months old and lovely. She looks more Cocker than Poo to be honest and most people she meets think she a working Cocker Spaniel. The only clues that she's not really are her tail and also her legs are a little...

    Arthritis medication

Sorry for the delay - just getting caught up. We had Lady on a combination of Gabapentin and tramadol at the end but this was more focused on her lower spine than her arthritis. The latter was bad in her hips and also she had it in her elbows, but the pain killers were really for the back...

    Poorly Reuben

Sounds like KC. Lady had it once and sounds very similar. Poor Reuben. Honey is good.

A new addition to my son's family!

I've just dug out Lady's old crate. It's Labrador sized. Do you think that would be a problem if they make it nice and cosy in there with a cardboard box and all.?

A new addition to my son's family!

Probably quite petite. The mother is a cocker and the father is a toy poodle.

A new addition to my son's family!

A cockerpoo booked today and coming home in about 3 weeks. She's called Nina and is 5 weeks old. We would have liked to go to see her too but of course couldn't because of lockdown. Just about to think about where all Lady's useable stuff is including crate (rather large for a cockerpoo pup).

Wt...?! The dog owner attacked me!!

It does one's head in to try and rationalise the antics of someone who is (sorry non-PC comment coming) completely nuts, and it sticks in one's head for days. So annoying.

    Thoughts please ?

No direct experience but honestly! Common sense must prevail surely. (I'm waiting for a reject lockdown girl Lab by-the-way).

    Dog puzzle interactive

I bought Lady a Tornado when she was still at the pupyish stage. She thought it was great and for a while it exercised her brain by having to work out how to get the treats out. Unfortunately she discovered quite by accident that if she picked it up then hurled it at the wall all the treats...

Flea and Tick treatments damage waterways

Advocate actually has a warning in it's advice leaflet saying that it's deadly to aquatic life even in very small quantities and that dogs should be kept away from water for (I think) 4 days after treatment. It's "buried" right at the end of the leaflet and also deep into the more detailed...
