Looking much happier today, he wants to play and desperately wants to wag his tail which is still swollen at the base , but he is brighter x

I`ve just taken him out , off lead . He was desperate to retrieve but its far too soon yet . I checked with the Vet who says he must stay on the high dose of paracetamol for a couple more days . He is brighter in himself certainly and is valiantly trying to wag xxThank you for asking xx

We had a sort of half wag this morning , so he is getting there slowly but surely xxx

Makes you wonder what they understand . I`ve been chatting to @Emily_Babbelhund on the phone this morning and when I got off the call , I looked at Reubs and told him that once he was all better, we would take him to see Auntie and Carbon , I got the smallest end of tail wags as his reply xxx

Reuben is usually a very enthusiastic dog, he loves everyone and everything , so to see him just laying around , looking miserable is just horrible . It is a shame that he cant have NSAID`s , they would help so much I`m sure , onwards and upwards , he will get there eventually xx

He slept on the bed and hardly moved all night , I put a blanket over him to keep him snug . This morning he seems a little brighter in himself though nowhere near how he usually is and his tail still droops badly . Maybe a very short walk this afternoon, I`ll see how he is xx Thank you all xx

Sam had a seroma after his cancer surgery , Vet said not to drain as it would only fill up again , if left the swelling will disappear and fluid will be absorbed into the body . Bless her , she has been such a brave girlie xxx
