Vets again this morning

I think the big lad has cold tail , what next  His tail is drooping and he is thoroughly miserable , so its yet another trip to the Vets at 12 today for him . He cant have NSAID`s due to really bad reaction to them so I think it will be painkillers . This will be his third trip to the Vets in under two weeks but no way I could leave him in obvious pain , poor lamb xx

When Merlin had this a couple of weeks ago in addition to the Metacam they gave him a muscle relaxant injection and painkiller. They also told me to keep him warm, and to put some gentle heat (like a warm water bottle) on his back, or lie him down by the radiator nicely wrapped up. He was fine within several hours, I hope the same is true for Reuben.

And we are home after the most horrendous drive , lots of flooding on the roads and idiots driving too fast with no lights on . It is cold tail as I thought , so he has had a muscle relaxing injection and paracetamol to take three times a day . No rough exercise for a few days and he should be fine, poor lad is very sorry for himself xxxx

Arent they just pathetic when they are not well ? Poor lad , he has been so sorry for himself this afternoon, made me want to weep . His bed is always next to a radiator , he doesnt usually like being too warm and will get up and move to the floor but he seems to be appreciating the warmth this evening . His tea was a proper mash up , kibble, sardines , yoghurt as it helped his tummy after applegate , manuka honey and golden paste as an anti inflam . He looks so upset that his tail wont wag , I know its hurting him and would rather have the pain myself , hopefully he will be improving a little by tomorrow x
