What made me smile today? Flying my model aircraft in strong winds I managed to land it vertically. I pointed it into wind, throttled back, and it just lowered itself onto the runway. The club chairman and a bunch of other members were watching so I tried to look nonchalant (and failed).

As from today Holly's back onto her normal diet. She's eating well, her poops are normal, and she did a zoomie in the garden this afternoon. We've got our girl back!

This morning she jumped on the bed to wake us up and greeted me out the shower with a toy. The old Holly is starting to come back.

There are many different muck boots with different tread patterns. Ones with the good walking treads are the Muck Master and Woody Max. I've done greasy rock, steep muddy slopes and all sorts in them with no problems.

She’s a little livelier this morning after a good nights sleep. No poop yet, but she sometimes waits until her walk before she poops.

I think it would really cheer her up. 30 min around the Arboretum this morning was quite enough for her.

Poop number two was delivered a few minutes ago. This is very encouraging. She doesn’t have much energy at the moment. Over the next few days we’ll get her back onto normal food, then start building up her weight and energy.

Hello Houston ..... the poop has landed.

WE HAVE A POO !!!!!!!! OK, its small and streaked with a bit of blood (presumably from everything that's been stuck inside her since Monday) but its a poo. Hopefully the recovery starts from here.

She’s not got much energy but seems OK otherwise. We’ve been taking her for 10-15 minute sniffy lead walks to keep her mind active. The movement might also encourage some bowel activity.

Still nothing.

Nothing yet. She's had several short walks to try and encourage a poop. If we don't get anything tomorrow morning I'm calling the vet. Its 3 days since the barium meal and no sign of a poop.
