We finally got a poop this morning :poo: Now we can start to get her back onto normal food. She should be back to normal by the weekend for the SW pack walk.

She had a good night last night. Today she's been having a quiet day with a gentle walk. Hopefully the small meals of rice and chicken will sort her out.

Holly has the tailgate all to herself. It has a plastic lining and we put an absorbent dog liner on top for the muddy water. It also has a dog guard. I let her jump in but we've never allowed her to jump out.

Not entirely true. I spent this morning picking blackberries for Holly and Pip!

This is extremely healthy. Trust me.

Put the blackberries in a bowl. Add the same weight of sugar. Cover them completely with dark rum and put on a lid or clingfilm to keep out germs. Leave it for several months while the rum absorbs the flavour. We have a proper rumpot for doing this. It's a cylindrical china pot with a lid...

Don't forget blackberry rumpot. A few spoonfuls over ice cream gives it a real kick.

Holly is on about 200g of kibble a day, supplemented with fruit and veg treats during the day which she loves! Have you ever seen a whole carrot go down in three bites? This has kept her weight around 27-28 kg for the last few years.
