Thank you for asking , she did eat her fish last night and is very quiet this morning but no more poo . However , I got up to a massive pile in the hallway so it looks like Reuben now has it but in true labrador style ,he has eaten his breakfast xx

She has slept all afternoon , been out for a wee just now but no :poo: so fingers crossed she is slowly improving . She did have much fuss made of her at the Vets , all love her so much since the awful attack xx

A really thorough examination and the Vets diagnosis is an infection in the intestines .There was a little blood on the thermometer and her temperature is just a little raised so she has antibiotics and anti inflams with a pain killer . Her appetite is better so I called in at the supermarket...

Vets have rung to bring her in at 11 this morning xxx

Thank you for asking x She has eaten a small amount of chicken but her tummy is very upset indeed , poo everywhere this morning which has distressed her so we have an appointment at the Vets at 12.30 today xxx

Thanks friends , she has just eaten a very small piece of turkey . I always keep some in the freezer as it was one of the foods that tempted her when she was so ill after that horrible attack . I dont want to overload her tiny tummy but at least she has something fairly bland and fat free in...

Poor little scamp , she has a really upset tummy and has refused food all day , even her much loved cheese . She has awful diarreah and cant settle at all . The good thing is that she has had several drinks of water but if she is still poorly and refusing food tomorrow , she will see the Vets xxx

Two members of my family have/have had GR , they seem to have been less manic as pups , much more laid back but sometimes without the happy if at times obsessive desire to please of the LR xx

Reuben was a snatcher, for his meals and for treats , I read about this method and it worked ! You put the dog into a sit , it doesnt matter too much if they wont do it ! The next bit is the important part , you face them with the food , hold it to your chest whilst saying Wait , then moved it...

Bless him but dont think about what you havent given him , instead think of what you have given him which is a loving caring home where he is very happy indeed xxx

Storm something or other is just hitting us and we are told to batten down the hatches for 24 hours of rain and gale force winds , much flooding expected but thankfully we are on high ground xx

I wish that I had started gundog training earlier with Reuben . Sam always loved it but this lad of mine is passionate about it . Prior to starting , he was a horror , totally unreliable apart from on the beach when he was an angel but get him in the woods and oh dear , it all went to :poo: ...
