Thanks. That sounds like a fun game. He’s not that great at retrieving. He will drop the ball on the way back distracted by scent and smells. I wonder if switching to gun dog training may help him a bit so he can get to run a bit more than he does with scent work.

I’m definitely going to get some tight toys for him. And yes, I think he’s going to need more lead time. Will also book in some training sessions.

He’s 15 months. He’s such a friendly creature and wants to get involved in everything. He is also a big scent trailer which is great for Mantrailing but not so great when on a normal lead walk.
