She's eaten her tea from her bowl and has heroically managed a couple of chews! I think she'll probably be a bit more lively tomorrow.

The wound will be very swollen. It will shrink down a lot in time.
Obi got attacked once which left him with a wound of similar size (4 inches plus) but once healed it was less than an inch in length. You can faintly detect it when he has his summer coat.

I saw this dog through the stitching up and afterwards, he seemed fine fortunately.Animals are also initially unresponsive due to shock...they can seem unaffected when they’re really in a shut down, frozen kind of state.
I think she has been a bit like this, poor sweetheart, although it's difficult to tell how much is due to the anaesthetic.
