In Mas’s head this is the best beat best toy ever. We use it for recall and swimming etc but when we use recall his reward is a game of tuggy with it and then a throw. Unfortunately he goes through them at a ridiculous rate - he pulls so hard the rope just breaks the hole in the ball and then no more ball on the rope 🙄Anyone got any recommendations for a very tough one? I’ve tried tough toys and it literally lasted one walk 🙄

Have you tried just a rope with a big knot on the end. Homer would go through a toy like that in no time too. He loves playing tug with anything, my sock as I'm getting dressed is a favourite, but he has lots of rope toys too. Eventually if left he'll chew at the the rope until it starts to shred but that usually takes a while. I've got an old pair of jeans I'm going to cut into strips and plat for him as a recycled rope style toy.

Good idea, I did this with an old tea towel, plaited and knotted at each end. You can also then make it a chew toy, pushing bits of kibble in between the folds of material . It makes a right mess of it but doesn't really matter if you were going to throw it away soon anyway

Ruffer & Tuffer ball tug - Don't bother. This lasted 7 minutes with our 2 before one ball came off, and a further 2 minutes before Coco severed the rope. The Chuckit Ultra Duo gets our vote. We've had one 7 months or so now..there is a split developing in one ball but it's lasted really well.
