I never understand this.. maybe my Labrador is broken but Stanley really doesn’t have high exercise needs. He never has really. He’s basically a couch potato. He gets about an hour day with plenty of sniffs and he’s happy but that’s what I would give any dog.
My friend’s got a cavapoo. He’s super cute and very bonkers. But he’s so tiny it doesn’t really matter, it’s just a little ball of fluff pouncing about.

Cassie is much the same as Stanley, she was high energy as a youngster but really since 3 plus her physical exercise requirements have not been very high.
She does however love mental stimulation and games.
I don't think I have ever walked more than 3 miles with her.

Carbón is a slug. A cuddly, gentlemanly slug, but a slug nonetheless. He’s happy with a time to get his ya-yas out, but whether that’s just a leisurely sniffy walk in town or an hour swim session, he’s happy as a clam. He’s even ok with a 2-3 day stretch of hiding indoors from the rain.
In fact, I’m pretty sure for a quick minute in Italy, he was ready to go on strike over so many long walks. Not enough sofa time!
All my dogs have ended up being coach potatoes - that probably says more about me than them though.

Maxx is not high energy either, we do around 40 mins per day and it is more sniff than run. Like Cassie he is more interested in mental games or stealing shoes/clean washing/t-towels etc and invoking a chase

You lucky people with low energy Labs. Holly needed an all-morning walk if she was going to snooze after lunch. Cocoa was OK with an hour, provided it was twice daily.

Reuben is also a couch potato 
He will happily walk or run as far as I want to go but is equally happy if his walk is short , he will still come home and snooze , or beg or hang around in the kitchen xx

Who can forget Cassie as a pup. I remember Holly getting a bit stressed on one of our walks because of Cassie‘s non stop attention.You will remember though the energetic whirlwind adolescent I once had

Both my dogs are calm and steady. HOWEVER, that was not the case when they were younger! Poppy was wild, and Merlin... well, his nickname was Maelstrom!!!

That particular day sticks in my mind because it was just the two dogs. It was also the day we saw a muntjac in the woods on Crabtree Hill.
I have other memories of Cassie such as the lovely walk with Rourke over the Malverns.

Jazz dragged us into Coffi Lab again this morning, not that we needed much persuading!
Just for Easter they have a new cake. Its a nest made from chocolate flavoured choux pastry, lined with a chocolate creamy filling and with a chocolate egg in the nest. Utterly wicked and guaranteed to raise the cholesterol levels and give a sugar high.
We had one each. Its all Jazz’s fault.
