It just shows what commitment and persistence in training can achieve, it can't have been easy at times
Thank you @Selina27. Yes it has felt like a long uphill task. All credit to Red for control and thinking things through but I also felt it worthy of a mention (not as a brag for me) to show that training does bring results and may help anyone with similar reactive issues

I feel I have psychologically got my lovely garden back
That’s lovely, Alison. I was hoping it would be resolved somehow, as there’s nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in your own garden. We had a difficult neighbour for a while years ago (her husband was fine, but she was very tricky, for no particular reason) and I remember how I couldn’t feel relaxed whenever I was in the garden.

Wonderful work @Atemas , what a sweet and good girl Red is! Also congratulations to @JES72 ,you and Homer have done so well there.
Now it's my turn though, and I have to admit that although we have had the most wonderful week away, our travels by train this time could never be described as smooth or easy, both journeys being fraught with mechanical problems and lengthy delays, resulting in quite a few angry outbursts from some fellow travellers. The one calm, well behaved and consistently well mannered being throughout all this has been my GGJ. Even though she was a little anxious at times, particularly when things got very crowded, she remained calm, very attentive to me and did absolutely everything I asked of her without hesitation. I received so many comments about how good she was, and two people actually said that she'd made their journey less frustrating and miserable. We're home safely now, she's had her Kong and is understandably very sleepy, so is having a well deserved snooze.
I couldn't be more proud of her.

@Candy i missed your train journey post with GGJ, but what a phenomenal girl she is! I can well imagine she made people’s journeys slightly easier, she certainly would if she was on my train with all those delays.

We took Kipper to the pub last night, with my mum and aunt and uncle so 5 humans in all. Our table didn’t have much room underneath or about it, and another very noisy party joined the table directly behind us half way through our meal making it even more cramped. Long and short was that Kipper blew my mind - I hadn’t expected there to be so little space but he managed it so well and was just brilliant for the whole time, 2.5 hours and very warm.
