Our cleaners came over today. They are a lovely couple who adore Chewie but he has become so placid around them that I think they would like a bit more attention.

Today they walked into my bedroom and said hello to him and he didn't even get off the bed.

Wow, the only person Maxx is like that with is my Dad. Anyone else gets lunged at, their toes trodden, barked at and furred

Chewie usually screams at guests for five minutes and then retires to bed.

Our cleaners also said that he looked "like an emperor" lying on the bed.

Stanley is super chilled. He'd let anyone in as long as he could slobber them with kisses. He even let a 6 month Airedale visit in the house without any hint of being protective of his home and people.

Yesterday was a day of two halves. In the morning he was a complete nightmare on his walk and left all sense and his ears at home. In the evening we went for a short walk and met an elderly lady who often sits on a bench by the river. We stopped to chat and Stanley sat next to her ever so good and calm and patient while she stroked him over and over.

My super sweet Stanley! While have a tea and cherry cake break during Mantrailing Pip (a lab x owned by our trainer) and Stanley were playing with Pips ball when another unknown dog came to interfere and Pip had a bit of a ‘set too’ with the other dog, Stanley took one look, decided Pip was quite capable to on her own and he came straight to me and didn’t get involved at all. He’s got such a lovely self assured character.
