Well it was very sunny yesterday, and even warm in sheltered areas. We had a few bees out, they would have been thirsty and irritable if out, so if he disturbed one he may have got stung.

Yes, bees is also possible ‘tho he is only ever out of my sight for a few seconds and I imagine he would have reacted to bees or hornets (crying/running to me etc).

You can see the lumps on his nose on the photo, it’s possible he stuck it into something and got bitten/stung then had an allergic reaction.

Echo isn’t allowed to chase balls, ball obsession would be a bad thing in a Guide Dog. But we have balls around so that they become just part of the landscape and nothing to get excited about .

Just now he dug out the three balls and brought them to Tatze - so cute!
