Today we met a lovely, crazy yellow Lab. All three had a super zoomy play - really fast, good and respectful. I love meeting other labs - they are so good at playing. His owner and I were chatting while they played so she knew Echo is only six months old.

As she left she kindly said ‘I’ll stop if he follows us and won’t come back to you.’ I said, ‘don’t worry, he’ll come back.’ She looked sceptical so I let him go quite a way with them before I blew the whistle - he came zooming back. *proud*.

We were in the woods and it was incredibly muddy. He isn’t a mud wallower yet ended up like this. So had to be hosed down when we got back home.

He’s quite good for his hosing down session but it gives him an adrenaline rush, so major indoor zoomies with a huge, hairy wet dog ensued.

I have just washed the tiled floor in the hallway, normally do this every other day, but because I have been ill I have ignored them. Well today I just couldn't. Tbh there was so much mud you could be forgiven for thinking it was an "outside room" Roll on summer.....

@Sophiedoodle at least with Black and Chocolate Labs we are lured into a false sense of security as the mud doesn't show up quite as much!
