Ella's sick

If you need us when in doubt, we are awake and could try to help you think clearly. That’s the positive of being on several continents....:hug:
Thank you, I know you all understand the worry that any little ailment causes.

My other friends would have felt one update was sufficient where as you lot read through every single one of my ramblings...

Hey, and we all cheered our way through three pages of Maslow poo photos the other day!!:rofl:

@Emily Sorry I'm late posting this I've just read the thread and wish I'd got to it sooner to let you know that anti nausea meds work by constricting the stomach so it doesn't throw stuff up. Being uncomfortable and the drooling after the injection could've been caused by the injection itself. Bit late to tell you that now I know :shake:My previous lab had a similar reaction to an anti nausea injection. He couldn't get comfortable, kept roaming about for a good couple of hours. I contacted the vet about it who told me it would be the injection and put in his notes he'd had a reaction to it. I hope Ella is feeling better. If she ever had to have an anti nausea injection again and has similar behaviour you'll know what it might

I was reading through all with my stomach in knots...what a worry. When Quinn had a blockage, the anti-nausea shot didn't work at all and one noticeable thing was that she would stand stiffly with head held low for long periods (indicating pain) and her vomit had a distinct poo-like smell. Glad to hear Ella is eating...keep us posted!!

Ohhh these unwell threads keep me on the edge of my seat:tmi: So glad that Ella was interested in some food. I hope it was just a 24 hour bug 🤞
