Good Bye Bobby

There is a lot my dad is going through, most especially he's scared of his own frailty, and my mum's frailty, that now without Bobby there'll be more pressure for them to move. He was saying he should have taken Bobby to the vet on Sunday night rather than Monday morning. Either way Bobby was already really struggling significantly with his arthritis and having difficulty going down the two shallow steps to the grass.
It must seem like the end of an era for him. Do try to distract him from the ‘what if’ thoughts, but concentrate on the positives. That was one of the best pieces of advice that I was given a while ago, difficult though it is.

I can understand how he feels, it is horrid to begin to be frail, even the Queen is looking frail lately. Bobby must have been his link with feeling younger and strong and now that is lost. I thought @Granca was very sensible in her reply, difficult as it is to be positive at times, it really is the only way x
