I am so so sorry Phil. Holly was an amazing girl who lived life to the full with you and Ruth. She will be very missed. My heart is breaking for you both x

Oh Phil, I'm so so sorry to hear this. Your adventures with Holly were one of the first things I remember reading about on the old forum. She had a wonderful life with you and Ruth, filled with many wonderful walks.

Truly heartbroken for you both. We have such incredibly fond memories of the gang together, we are both in tears for you. Dearest Holly, we will all miss you, and will hold dear your very sensible influence on our Severnside Walks.

I am so dreadfully sorry to hear your news. It seemed as though you had her stabilised and she was enjoying life. Such a shock that she went downhill so quickly but she had a super fabulous
time with you and couldn’t have had more lovely owners. xx

I am so so sorry that you had to say goodbye to your sweet and wonderful Holly. She was loved and a descion that although was heartbreaking was also the best for Holly. Heartbreaking for you both.
She had the most wonderful life with you and knew she was loved and cherished.

We've not had much sleep, but today we realised that we have to start the big clear-out. This morning we sorted out Holly's belongings - and its amazing how much she had. There were beds, two toy boxes and a laundry basket full of toys. She was never one for destroying toys, she much preferred being chased for them, so many of her toys are still intact. Among these were the toys we bought for when she came home as a puppy. She liked to carry them around the house right up to her last few days. There's also her child gate, the car ramp (which she didn't use much), and load of leads and harnesses. There were flood of tears, but we've sorted them all out into ones that can be chucked and ones to be recycled.
So what do we do with it all?
The bags of treats went next door to Holly's best friend, Ted the black Lab. We don't really know what to do with the rest. There's some good stuff there such as Chuckit balls and her Julius harness. If any of the SW pack are intersted we'd be happy to see things go to her pals, otherwise we're thinking of offering it to Forest of Dean dog rescue.

I am so very, very sorry, it is a terrible thing to lose a much loved dog. I know she had the best life with you, and you will feel her loss dreadfully. I hope you can take comfort in remembering the wonderful times and walks you had together. xxx
