Back from the vet. The plan is to do a CT scan tomorrow. He could have stayed overnight but I wanted him home so Hubby will take him back in the morning.
If there is no indication of any spread or nodules in any other organs they will do a splenectomy and take out his spleen. She is a very experienced surgeon and described the procedure well. If there is evidence of cancer anywhere else then they won’t operate.
if all is well he has the operation on Thursday and comes home on Friday after recovery if all is not well he comes home Thursday evening
I feel more assured but still in limbo.
