Homer has expensive taste

Maxx loves to chew clothing too, especially hubby's t-shirts. Of course he is still also partial to t-towels, shoes, remotes, sunnies, socks, undies (nicks them from the laundry basket), stuffed toys and the floor mat in the bathroom (you see it disappearing backwards out the bathroom door if you leave it open whilst having a shower).

I'm very happy to say, though, he has never managed anything expensive of mine such as a cashmere cardi. I'm sorry @JES72 . He did chew hubby's brand new, expensive sheep skin slippers last year. That's when we realised he'd figured out how to paw open the shoe cupboard

Snowie is not a toy-loving dog, yet he LOVES a new toy. Just for that moment of receiving it. Parades around with it. And then settles down to rip off the little bits (ears, tail, etc). He is not a chewer otherwise. You can leave anything lying around.

I’m curious to know if there is a correlation between dogs that get regular raw meaty bones for meals vs chewers of things they should not chew. Snowie gets a raw meaty bone for dinner, sometimes chewed up in a few chews, sometimes takes forever to chew and gnaw (depends on size and type of bone). I always think he gets his chew satisfaction from his meals and therefore has no need to chew other stuff.

Stanley just steals stuff so you’ll chase him to get it back.

We leave all our washing on the clothes horse in the kitchen where he sleeps and goes when we’re out and he never touches it. As soon as I put Rory’s bib down he runs off with it to get my attention though 😑

Maxx is the same as Stanley @Jen - nicks stuff for attention and to get chased. Thinking about it he hadn't stolen and destroyed anything on the quiet for a while. Not sure if he has grown out of it or if we have just mastered keeping stuff out of reach most if the time
