Family decision made. I will ring tomorrow to make the appointment for the operation after our one week holiday. OH will stay at home whilst I go with my son at the end of July to help look after my parents. Hunter loves it there but it will only be 2 weeks after the op. In our week away our friends will help to get Hunter's weight down. I feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders.

Getting the date sorted was not straight forward as the receptionist has Covid. Today finally confirmed 15th July 0915. His limping has got worse so I just want it to happen. We are going to Kos... Wild fires broke out there on Monday so let's just say my frame of mind is a little delicate today!

How is Hunter doing (other than getting over-excited and dis-embowelling stuffies)?

I am away in Kos but I am told his limping is not so bad. Short enforced walks and being an utter idiot! I am worried about his operation but I don't think we have any other choice. He is very happy which is good but I am not looking forward to the rehabilitation.
