Oh, what a sweetheart with her Elephant. I'm really glad she's back home with you and you have a plan for getting her feeling better and ready for your new adventures. ❤
Yes, I was so pleased when the vet said 'Start gradually building her back up to her usual walks again '! I had been worried that the advice might be 'Time to start taking it a it easier '. I don't think either of us are ready for this yet!

Sounds like you’ve got a good plan in place and Joy will be back to full speed soon. We’ve found Librela helpful so far, and it took about 3 weeks before we noticed a difference but it obviously varies. Sleep tight x

That sounds really positive. I hope the Librela helps GGJ and you can both enjoy your further adventures.

So pleased you know what you’re dealing with. Did the vet talk about laser treatment? We’ve found it’s been immensely helpful for Snowie’s arthritic back. Last visit the vet said he detected stiffness in his knees and shoulders (he doesn’t limp, and we’ve not x-rayed them lately), so Snowie got laser treatment there, too. He’s always so relaxed and happy after the treatment.
