Lambies for Tadpole please.

Fiona had a 'phone call while we were walking on the moor today. It was Sue, who we see nearly every day up there with her dog Tadpole, a Chihuahua/ some sort of a terrier cross. Tadpole is tiny but with a huge, lively, loving, outgoing and friendly character. He's a completely lovable little dog. Sue was ringing to tell Fiona that he was attacked badly by a Rottweiler on the moor yesterday. Apparently he went running up to the Rottie to say Hello and was picked up and shaken very hard, so hard that the vet says the skin on his back has come away from the tissue underneath. The Rottweiler's owner said it had never happened before, but refused to give Sue his contact details because 'If it happens again I might be made to have him put down'.
Poor Tadpole spent the night at the vet hospital and is now home, wearing a compression jacket which he hates. The vets are concerned about the possibility of a build up of fluid between his muscle tissue and his skin. He's managed some chicken for tea but is very subdued. Sue just wanted all the other dog walkers on the moor to be aware of what had happened. She's usually a lovely, positive, upbeat person but has been so traumatized by this.
Can we send some Lambies please?:thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming:

Oh no surely someone knows who this cowardly owner is, to do this and walk away. I don't understand people. I hope he recovers I hope his owner is alright too. So very very sorry

The other worry is that there is a very nice man who walks a lovely gentle Rottie up there. GGJ who is often wary of big male dogs absolutely loves him. We don't want him to be blamed for the attack on Tadpole. Fiona asked Sue if she could give a description of the attacking dog's owner but I think she was just in shock, so couldn't really remember what he looked like. I think it's likely that he'll be lying low for now anyway.
