Loo roll stock pile

I think we are all forgetting that dogs were once used to clean babies bums. We all have a massive resource in our homes. Who's going first or do we wait until we run out of loo roll?
How??? A thick tail wipe? Or?... perhaps we can finally understand the origins of the desire for human poo?

I did an order from asda for delivery Wednesday, the order of the 24 loo rolls that I didn't really want nor need, is now out of stock. I went to add stuff to my order when I'm informed of this and I need to remove it from my basket. I now have 12 on order but I really don't think I'm going to get them as my friend was in my local tesco and they have very little loo roll left and empty shelves of soaps, not just the sanitisers but the liquid hand soap.
The world has gone mad and I and I may need to beg some of you for loo roll ;)

I’ve just been to B&M to stock up on dog treats for Mr Boogs*, as I’m off to Germany on Wednesday. There was plenty of loo roll, soap, liquid soap, paracetamol. Everything except hand gel.

I think it’s a good thing that people are keen to buy hand gel - it means they are taking hand hygiene advice seriously.

*for Mr Boogs to give the dogs, I hasten to add! 🐕

OH is in Poland and has been given hand gel to use by the office where he’s working. He’s been told there’s plenty in the shops there so is getting a couple of bottles to bring home to use when he’s travelling.

I can't get a loo roll of any kind. Friends posted on Facebook last night tesco shelves and after amending my Asda delivery today, my loo roll on order has been amended to out of stock. Asda have NO loo roll in stock. By the way I'm only wanting my normal amount and I can't get one. Pe....d off just a tad for the selfish stupidity. I don't know what these idiots stock piling toilet roll are going to do with it all.
I've also found out as well as loo roll bulk buying, there's a run on instant mash, two words 'oh gads'. So pasta, instant mash, loo rolls and liquid soap, seems to be what the panic buyers think is going to feed them for a while.
Anyone in Ayrshire know of availability of loo rolls, can you give me a shout please.

Stocks were replenished of loo rolls and according to a friend, gone within minutes.
Ayrshire cancer support are appealing for anyone with spare hand sanitisers as they need to protect the people they help by using the stuff on themselves, which is to prevent them passing on virus and bacteria to people with compromised immune systems.
I can't believe that in 2020 that people who stick utter drivel on Facebook about being kind to each other, are buying up stuff that they will never use nor need and people who genuinely need this to carry on working with vulnerable people can't buy it.
