How stressful! Poor Maxx - and you!

What I always find with dogs (and kids) is that they go downhill so quickly but then their recovery is nothing short of a miracle turnaround. Fingers crossed he’s home soon xx

They finally rang, he has eaten a little bit of food and kept it down and done a wee so things are really looking up. They are keeping him overnight on "full observation" so we are happy that they will be looking after him so well.

He is still on the drip so getting lots of fluids and antibiotics

I don't know what we would do without you all, thank you

Oh crikey I have just caught up. It is so scary when they go downhill quickly and you wish they could talk to you and tell you what is wrong. He is getting the best care and it sounds like he is improving. Hunter sends gentle snuggles to Maxx.

I wished so many times that he could talk (or that we could talk dog)

The vet just rang, he has massively perked up and there was no diarrhea or vomiting overnight. He hasn't done a poo yet so they will keep him all day and so long as he does a poo and continues to improve we can pick him up at 6.30pm (9 hours time)

We both slept like logs last night, most unheard of PLUS slept in without our furry alarm clock to nudge us awake!
