Meg

So I had to dash straight to work....It went absolutely perfectly today. I shouldn't say it, but I really think she's ours. She was in the field with her main carer when we got there so we both went in with the second staff member, she was happy & waggy and approached on lead. We walked & talked, let her off, played ball for 10 minutes- she was just so relaxed. Popped her back on the lead & while OH fetched Coco. I got kisses from her. Coco came in and he didn't go OTT, he sniffed the field boundary, glancing over to me and to Meg, but wasn't pulling to come over. Then they met on lead, did appropriate sniffing then started to play, taking it in turns to "bite" each other on the neck. It was going so well they were let off lead and had a right good play & chase, still taking it in turns. Coco was quite rough, but she didn't seem to mind. When Meg lay down - she was tired as she'd had a lot more exercise than she's been used to of late, Coco didn't mither her. He recalled nicely when we decided to cool it down. I had the both in a sit in front of me and gave them each a treat, no jealousy or trying to get each others treat. OH put Coco back in the car and when he came back into the field Meg bounded over to him - Meg the "strange-man-reactive" dog. Well the look of pleasure on the 2 staff members faces said it all.
We were then left alone with her and she was an absolute joy. We played ball, we played recall, we played, we sat and petted, we played more.

OH is going back Friday lunch time to walk her, and we'll all go back on Saturday - they will make the indoor play-barn available, and the chill-out room for us.

As we parted and the staff member took her back, she said "that couldn't have gone any better, I am so happy with that"
