OH took Merlin to the vets this morning for a check up. All good, and they were very pleased. The incision looks great, no swelling or redness, and he is doing very well they said. Yay!!

Glad he’s on the mend! 
Aargh I let him off his lead this morning to have a sniff around. He did a poop... and then before I could stop him did his normal butt tuck and joyous run around!!! I think all is ok, but note to self - do not let your guard down...

We should get the results next week some time. He is doing very well, and seems happy and healthy, so my fingers are firmly crossed.
The stitches are out, and the results are in and he's got the all clear! Phew!!!! There is however no explanation as to what caused the atrophy, but there is no sign of any tumours so I am so very relieved!
