They look really small , brilliant for dog treats. It also sounds easy to make. I might just get some peanut butter tomorrow. Do you remember proportions and where did you get such a small mold?I bought a silicon mold mat for treats a while ago and made my first batch tonight - very basic peanut butter with eggs and a bit of flour. I’m really pleased, they’re a hit with Kipper and so easy! View attachment 15047
I might have failed on this, although they might go too quickly to fester...allow to dry out completely before putting in a jar as they can go mouldy so quickly if just slightly moist.
See, I go opposite: I make a very thin, pancake-like batter which pours easily into the mould rather than you having to force it in, then I freeze them immediately. I take a handful out as and when I need.my tips for any treat recipe going into tiny moulds would be to keep a thick mixture with little moisture,
Do you mainly do fishy/smashed up chicken carcass flavours?See, I go opposite: I make a very thin, pancake-like batter which pours easily into the mould rather than you having to force it in, then I freeze them immediately. I take a handful out as and when I need.
Yup, pretty much these days since liver is off the table. But prior to that, it would basically be anything in the fridge, add a couple of eggs (including shell), flour, and milk. Job’s a good un.Do you mainly do fishy/smashed up chicken carcass flavours?
