Uh - Oh Stanley was getting too big for his puppy crate so we put up Homer's big crate for him. He went to bed in it without any trouble, until 5am this morning. He usually wakes to go outside at between 4am and 5am, then back to bed until 6am for breakfast. This morning he whined and barked for most of the hour. Then later this morning I put him back in his crate so I could do a grocery order upstairs on my computer and he wasn't happy to stay in his crate again. So need to do lots of crate training and separation training this week.

I’ve gone out to do some chores, Hubby sent a message to say he’s alternating waiting by the door and trying to look out the window. I think I need to go out more!

He has slept through to 6am two nights in a row!
He indicated to go outside, so I let him out, he sniffed around for a while then came back in. I took a moment to hang up washing on the drying rack upstairs (upstairs where little paws ad sharp teeth can’t track) As I come down I catch him doing a poop on the hall carpet and there was a small puddle of pee in the kitchen. There’s no rest for the wicked if there’s a puppy in the house!

Classic baby puppy move! The sleeping is a blessing, hussah for that and long may it continue.

Odin indicates but I have trouble seeing it....Just little signs. I am often outside with him after playing, sleeping, eating. Even when he peed outside he menages to pee inside just when we are some 5 min home....Never pooed in house!
And yes! There is no rest.....!

Before we got Stanley, I was considering rehoming a dog, Hubby insisted we get a puppy. Who has to clean up the poo?!?
