Urgh, hold on in there 
Axel has thoroughly confused me. He won’t eat wet food anymore after turning down kibble for days. But just gobbled up a cup of kibble that I tried. Hasn’t drank water out of his dish for days but just drank it happily out of gizmos dish. Very strange but I’ll take it

Still thinking of you and your sweet boy.
I still haven’t heard anything. They opened a half hour ago. But now my mind is spiralling… if they can save him with amputation… is that fair to him? My gut feeling says no… but I want all of your opinions. He’s a big boy and in my brain, I feel it’s not fair to his other front leg to carry the extra weight … but am I being silly? Could he still live a happy life ?
You don't know whats wrong yet. You're tired and over thinking. Lots of dogs do well on 3 legs. It's just a different life. Speak to the vets let them guide you.

Exactly this. You need to know what the problem is before you can make any decisions. It's no wonder that you're feeling like this though, after all you've been through and this seemingly never ending wait.You don't know whats wrong yet. You're tired and over thinking.
