Nelly's dog attack journey ❤️

Just home from dropping Nelly off for her surgery and feeling so teary , poor little angel . On the lighter side , at my request the police sent me an e mailed report of their actions regarding THAT dog and the owner . It said that they visited the owner who admitted that her dog was out of control for a split second ( oh yes ? ) and that she thought it had been frightened by the small dog :facepalm: Regardless of this and due to a witness statement , we carried out a dog control order which was signed by the owner and will remain on the police date base .
Small justice I guess and what cowards they are xxx

To be honest, considering they make .money from breeding dogs designed to look 'cute' rather than breathe properly I very much doubt that they have consciences.
I hope all goes well with Nelly's surgery today Kate. It's hardly surprising you felt tearful on leaving her after all she and you have been through, but she has done so very well so far and this is another step in the right direction. :hug:xxx

As for THOSE people, what a lame excuse “frightened of the small dog”. Regardless, their dog did the damage and they should be made to compensate for the devastating injuries it caused.

Thinking of all of you today. ❤❤. Forget those petty, selfish, ignorant people for today, and focus on what’s important at this moment in time. The anger and upsettedness can surface again after you get Miss Nelly back home and in your arms. :hug: :hug: Be kind to yourselves Kate, you have all been through so much….
