Sonia, I have been away for two weeks and just got back to the forum to this very sad news. I am so sorry that you have lost Mike, I remember when my father died how very difficult it was for my mother - having shared so many years with one person, losing them feels like losing part of yourself. Sending you love and wishing you fortitude through this very difficult time. Xxx

My father only recently told me of all the many legal things that had to be taken care of after my mother passed. People who haven't had to cope with the death of a spouse may not realise that the pressures of 'to dos' continue long after the memorial service. I wish he would have told me at the time or I would have thought to have asked. It just didn't occur to me. If there is someone there who may be able to help but who hasn't offered, please do reach out to them.

Could you ask your daughters even if they've not offered? But I get it if you don't because of how things have been the last months...
Otherwise autopilot sounds perfectly normal and the way to go. I'm amazed you can get anything done - you're a tough lady!

Looking through some old photos today, and found some I took on our walk together with @Emily_Babbelhund. So I have had a go at editing my first video! Couldn't work out how to get rid of the butterflies at the end, so there is a bizarre mixture of autumn leaves AND butterflies!

Thank you @jWoodswoman. My brain is totally addled at the moment, trying to sort everything out, I thought Mike had left a file, but when I looked at it, there was only one thing pertaining to finances and 'what to do'!! So feeling a bit miffed with him at the moment.
