I am back! Taken back the reins. Oh it was so good to see my puppy again! The swelling has improved, just slightly but definitely in the right direction. I swear though she has grown. @Mr Beanwood is fine...if a little frazzled round the edges!:rofl:

The assessment, well nuff said..:( Hey ho and all that...

But you won't actually know the result for a week will you? (And you still have your follow-up report to send on too don't you?) I bet it went better than you think. I think most people only remember the bits that weren't quite so good in test scenarios.
Anyway, glad you're back with your lovely family.

13 days Post Op

So glad to be home, and able to spend quality time with Otter the Potter! We are now 13 days Post Op! tomorrow the rehab plan changes slightly allowing Otter x 2 10 min walks. We are going to leave that until the swelling has completely resolved. It is has definitely improved today! Her energy level has gone through the roof, so seriously employing everything to give her some form of expressive release whilst keeping a sharp eye out for that puppy hoolie just bubbling under the surface!. Luckily Otter loves any kind of scentwork.....:inlove:. We also worked on calming exercises with the gang, learning that when her name was used she got a treat. This helps her with stimulus control, using the dog's name, click and give a treat, will try and get a little video tomorrow.

Her wound is healing really well, and whilst we don't expect the limp to resolve at least for another month or so, (a good outcome is contingent on growth...) it is good to see her gait improved vs. pre-op.

For now....Otter finds the sossidge...a Very Short Game...
