, but it seems I have got myself a job as a Parish Clerk to our local Parish Council. I volunteered when they mentioned they were having a job finding anyone to do the work, not realising it was a paid position with quite a lot of responsibilities.
I had an interview yesterday and was offered the job, although to be fair I was the only applicant.
Only 8 hours a week, but it's so long since I was in real employment that I am wondering what I have let myself in for. I think it will be a steep learning curve, particularly as there is a 4 month gap since the last clerk left, so lots of bits to catch up on. Working from home mostly so I will be here for Derek and the boys, just need to kick my brain into gear
