Mum is hanging on - just. She is mostly asleep, but has periods of lucidity and it is wonderful to be able to be with her in these last few days and hours. We are caring for her at home; she is comfortable, and not afraid or in pain. There is a lot of love surrounding her and emanating from her.

OH is a mess at home, very upset and emotional. Once the vet gets to the house he will call me, and I’ll be with him and Poppy via video call. It’s not ideal, but it’s the best I can do right now. My dear sweet Poppy - she hasn’t eaten anything for days now, and OH says he thinks she is ready to go.
