The fine needle samples showed a lot of cancer cells , so my dear boy will have surgery within a few days to remove the tumour and send it off for grading . Its like some sort of awful groundhog day , just the same as Sam . I am trying my best not to cry as it upsets him xxxx

Thank you dear friends x I am convinced now that this must be something to do with his breeding, it is just too much of a coincidence to have two related dogs of similar age diagnosed with cancer . It did cross my mind ( possible risk ) when we decided to have him and love him but then, he had already been born so someone was going to have him , why not us ? At least we have some experience of nursing, caring for and loving a dog with cancer , I have faith in our Vets and can just hope upon hope that it is a low grade that can be easily removed and then forgotten , thank you again xxx

That is such wretched news, I had so hoped and believed it would be nothing. As you say, you have faith in your vet, medicine moves on and there are new treatments sometimes, fingers tightly crossed that this problem can be solved. I feel deeply for you xx
