He is indeed a very Noble Bear and I love him a lot. The main reason for him having to go into retirement was the arrival of Labrador pups!
We're pretty much OK now, although I still keep an eye out. He's my oldest loved thing!

You should see my teddy, he's not got much fur. He was my brother teddy. My Mother brought it for my brother when they were going to Australia
from M&S. When we came back to England, he gave me his bear, with me being his kid sister. Teddy didn't have any eyes until recently, when I got him a new pair. Teddy is 65 and still much loved.

The only bear I own is Teddy Legless , so called because Sam chewed all four legs to a stump , I fear he would terrify children , so he stays in the cupboard for now .I dont think Reubens fluffy sprout would cut the mustard x

My gg sons are 8 and 3. The 8 year old almost gets it but the 3 year old just thinks he's being kept indoors for something he's done wrong but NO idea what. Everso difficult for the parents, I'm hoping they've got into the bear thing.

That's quite a relief! He does look much happier now. Also less likely to give children nightmares!

All the cuddly bears in our house have their faces ripped out, so, as I don't want to give any little ones nightmares, I have put a plastic bear head in the window instead. A disembodied head is better than a chewed face, I think.

I had to string him up by his neck as you can’t see our windowsill from the road.

Not quite sure if it’s a good look.

That is a proper teddy bear @Candy , I have a little pink bear I got when I was 2, now 53 years old, she is errr . . pink and little and called 'pinky'.

It's so sweet seeing these beloved older bears. While the idea for teddies comes from the US and the most famous makers are in Germany, I can't help but think of love for teddies as something quintessentially English.
