Let the tears fall Alison , they are a release of emotion . Talk about her , and in time you will smile when you think of her . Red will be lost too but will be fine with your love . I dont think we ever get over the loss, rather we learn to cope with it , it is so hard , a truly horrible time xxxxxx
Oh god, tears here. My deepest condolences Alison, I know only too well what it is like losing a beloved senior dog. Oh that terrible moment when you have to say goodbye for the last time... but you know in your heart you did the right thing for her. Big, big hugs to you. xxx

Oh Alison I'm so very sorry. Sky had an amazing fulfilled, loving life with you, your family and Red. When she needed you most you were there to hold her close to make her feel safe in her last moments. Sky couldn't have asked for more and you let her go when she needed too which is the most selfless and kindest thing to do for your darling girl. Sending my love to you all.
