What you wrote is beautiful and helped to take away one of my fears, finding a beloved dog passed at home. That you can spend that time with him at your own pace, and that he looks peaceful is priceless. Another lesson taught by Snowie.

And no guilt about ANYTHING. You fought for him, advocated for him, and took gentle care of him, even when it was very hard to do. He knows that. With time you will too.
