Wonderful! I feel proud to have known Spencer, so you must be extra proud to have had a part in making this possible, Mags! What a marvellous thing you have done. Wet eyes every time I read these updates!

Yes - it also gives me hope for Echo!

I‘m training Echo to lie down nicely while I put my socks and shoes on. Hitherto I’ve had to do it in another room (while he barked impatiently!)

We are getting there slowly. This morning I remembered doing exactly the same with Spencer. He was looooopy, loooopy at shoe-putting-on time!

So interesting to hear this side of the process, too. I guess I always just assumed that the "handover" from trainer to blind owner was really quick and little more than a formality, so it's an eye-opener to hear about how much work has to go into it.
