Taken the plunge again

How is Ripple doing generally @SteffiS ? Has his scavenging eased up at all?
Well I'm definitely getting more skilled at knowing when it's going to happen :D. The long line has helped enormously; as recommended on the forum, I'm now dropping the line a lot of the time. But I suspect off the lead in any prime scavenging area he would still be the same. I let him off the lead in areas I know we're pretty clear of 'stuff', and also where I'm giving him a job to do like retrieves or practising other skills.
It's a manageable situation but still not ideal.

Still no noise in the night but woke up to wee and poo on the newspaper, not too worried as it was a nice neat pile of poo (well until Toffee rushed about to say hello to us :D).
I cleared up, fed cats and took Ripple for his morning walk while OH dealt with Toffee. Although we did have one interesting moment when I called the cats for breakfast and Toffee came rushing up the garden from 'puppy place' with OH hotly in pursuit, luckily the cats had their puppy antennae on so we avoided confrontation.
And guess what - they're all asleep again :).

I rather took my eye off the ball this evening trying to juggle dinner, watering, and puppy sorting - I left the lid off the composting bin and came back in to find Ripple helping himself . For all Ripple's eating habits he has never done that before. From the mess of peelings, tea bags and veg on the floor I don't think he ate very much, possibly only the pear peelings. I imagine time will tell exactly how much he's eaten , well at least it wasn't Toffee eating it.

Toffe is now finding his feet, we've had chaos this morning . Toys thrown about, water everywhere, biting, barking, curtain pulling and finally zoomies. The cats have redistributed themselves, one to the lounge and one to the polytunnel, OH is considering joining them :ROFLMAO:.
Now, of course, Toffee is crashed out :), getting ready for round two I suspect.
