You were so silly, Tuppy, I was really brave. I did my fierce barks on the way in, but my favourite vet came out to find me and took us into his room and took my lead off and I licked him lots.

He said we both looked really good and well. He took us to see our favourite nurse too and they clipped our nails and took some blood to check that we’re as well as we look cos we’re now both senior dogs… although Tuppy’s still a silly puppy sometimes. She had to have a bandage on her leg cos they had to take her blood from there, but I sat like a good girl and had mine taken properly.

A man with a crane came today with bags of soil. I wiggled at him wunce and then went back to sleep. I wasn't bothered. The hoomans were in and out between the house and street all day shovelling soil. I just slept. Apparently other dogs might have wandered out through the open gate. Not me. Sleeping to do.

PS i’ve neva had duck cos wun of my hoomans luvs ducks so we’re not allowed to eet any. Pleese call dogline. I’m deeprivd. :(
