what a great partnership.
This is the best compliment, thank you - I feel like Carbon and I are finally a team. It's taken a good long time and we still have loads to learn (despite Carbon's exemplary teaching skills) but we're edging closer to being "Team Carbon". That's a very special thing to me as Brogan and I were most definitely "Team Brogan"for many years and it's such a relief to find that again...of course with Carbon's own unique personality and gentleman flair. ❤

That moment when you realise that you and your dog are finally a team is truly magical and I don't think that you ever really look back once that's happened! Congratulations, so pleased for you both!xxx

Hola todos!

As I am about to fly again to California soon - ojala, hopefully! - I will share some photos of my very first plane trip. ML and I did not have our travel style down yet AND she had that big old broken foot thing to wear. Now when we fly, I use her bag as a pillow for my handsome head and I get to lay on her coat and my blanket. She says Brogan did not need all these things, but I am a discriminating gentleman dog and need my comforts!

Try not to give ML numb toes though xx
ML comment: Oh my gosh, yes...you spotted that right away, didn't you? He LOVES to use the top of my foot at the ankle as a head rest which pretty much puts my foot to sleep immediately. It's one of the reasons I try to set up up using my bag wrapped in a blanket for his head instead. But alas, the position of my foot is perfect if he wants to have a nice chin rest plus be able to see the food trolley coming, so...numb foot! 😂

It’s so amazing to me that he can do this! Does he ever get up for a stretch and walk around on those trans-Atlantic flights?
He's not supposed to. Legally, he's meant to go under our seat during take off and only emerge after landing. This is what Brogan did.

HOWEVER, because Carbon isn't 100% on 'stay' for longer periods if I'm not there, I usually ask one of the crew during a quiet time to watch him while I go to the loo - which they inevitably love to do - and without fail when I come back out, he's being paraded up and down the aisle or taken into the galley to be fed leftovers. So yeah, he usually does get to stretch his legs. And as you can image, he LOVES anyone in a uniform. 😉

ML has been trying to figure out what to do in January: go on a big adventure in Italy or hide on the sofa in Cornwall. After speaking to some wise friends, she has decided to go to Cornwall. Do not worry, amigos, I will not let her stay on the sofa too much as we have waves to surf and Reubens and Nellies to visit! I do not remember much about Italy, so I am not too sad to miss it. I think ML and I can have many adventures wherever we want, but when it is cold and rainy, our big comfy house in Cornwall is best, no? Because, de verdad, really - who likes to be a tourist with the wet from above!

Although I must say, I did have fun in wet Wales with my @SwampDonkey rain coat to protect me!

Omg he has a raincoat? Dead!
Yes, thanks to @SwampDonkey . 😁

When we went to visit her, Swampy took us to her favourite dog store where a VERY patient lady helped us pick out a raincoat for my then "foster dog". Heh, heh...

He LOVES the coat and it's really the only way to get him out in the rain. We use it a ton in the UK and in December in Germany.
