It's portrait mode on my new phone. It looks completely unrealistic, but I like it for a few shots! I've always been a "Kodachrome"-look fan (super saturated and bit grainy), and this is like Kodachrome on "11".

He looks so disappointed if I'm just taking scenery photos without him that I started giving him a cookie (really a tiny piece of kibble) for every photo. Sometimes he STILL looks disappointed, so I'll just take a photo of him looking up at me to soothe his feelings. He's a chilled out guy otherwise, but I've kind of turned him into a photo diva.

Yes. I think of it as his resting misery face. He really is such a perpetually happy dog...with such a very sad face in photos!
People kept coming out of the building (I think government workers) and stopping to pet him. This was about my third attempt to film him because we kept getting interrupted (which was fine - I like him getting loved on by strangers). So he's just watching for the next group...which did indeed come out and make a huge fuss over him!
Does Señor Carbon know what a very fortunate dog he is? Is there any traffic on the outskirts of Florence. I so enjoy just hearing the footsteps and voices of people, reminds me of Venice.
