Muchas gracias! My purple rain coat is thanks to my buena amiga @SwampDonkey , who took me and ML to a nice store to pick it out. And was VERY patient with ML while she made her choice: aye carumba, but she is a slow shopper!

It is not very cold in Venice (6-10C) but it was raining yesterday and I do not like wet from above. When I wear my purple coat, I can walk happily in the rain. Without it...oh, I am very naughty indeed and try to hide in every doorway!

@Emily_Babbelhund, you really should write a book about the travels of Carbon, it would be an outright success. The only drawback is you both would be recognised everywhere and no peace, but lots of biscuits! I am quite serious about writing a book.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, it was so lovely to see Venice again and I think in the last video, I could hear the bells in the distance. Looks as if you had lovely weather and Señor Carbon looks so at home. I also loved the video when you recalled Carbon and his legs would swing out In excitement as he dashed back.

Love seeing your photos and videos - memories of a winter holiday we had once staying in St Mark's square. I hope Carbon noticed that on the ferry the humans also had to wear muzzles.

Yes, it's required on the vaporetti (water buses). He's not thrilled but already getting better because muzzle = cookies.

I hope Carbon noticed that on the ferry the humans also had to wear muzzles.

I know, it's kind of funny. I always make sure I take his off first because he goes nuts on it the second we're off the boat. I want to say, "See how much I love you? Your muzzle comes off first!"

Oh and on that particular muzzle: it's one of Brogan's. Brogan had two from the same company, this one and one that was a blue bandana pattern. The blue one suited him much better and the daisy one never got used. I think the daisy one suits Carbon to a "T". He's gotten so many compliments on it since we got here.
