The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

So pleased all is well with you dear Señor Carbon, I must admit I had a bit of a shock when the vet man said you were anaemic, but it seems all is well.
Carbón doesn't have a clue about all that, so ML will answer. 😉

For some reason, anaemia is a recurring problem with the Señor. He had it when I got him from the shelter, when he was diagnosed with heart worm, and very persistently after his "decorative willy" operation. So our vet checks his tongue and gums every time. This time she said he was very pale - I'd noticed it too - so she was worried enough to do a blood panel and had a plan for medications to put him on.

But no...this time he's just fashionably color-free apparently, as his blood work was fine.

It's weird and we're not sure what causes the anaemia or the paleness. I guess for now it will remain a mystery!

Algunas noticias, some news! ML has just talked to our landlords in Cornwall and we are confirmed on the books for a five month "holiday" next year. ML does not want to move so much anymore, so the first step was getting our precious accommodation in Padstow sorted. It will be a mix of three different houses (the big house, the medium house and the teeny tiny house), but who cares as long as I can go to my favourite beach Porthcothan every day to surf and see Reuben and Nelly whenever we can. Not long now, mis amigos!

Some good memories...
