We’re having a lovely relax day today - no driving - and then will barrel through tomorrow all in one go. It’s about 7 hours from Folkestone to Padstow - add a refueling/wee break and my slow driving and it should actually take about 8 hours. I would have liked to do some friend visits along the way, but I don’t see well to drive in the evenings, especially in the UK where I’m sitting on the wrong side of the car and find getting an eyeful of oncoming headlights a problem. So the goal is to get into Upperdeck by 5pm or so.
In a TERRIBLE miscarriage of justice , I have not yet been to Scotland! We must fix that! I have, however, been to Wales and both Northern Ireland and the a the Republic of Ireland. Does that put me in the lead?Scotland?![]()
