BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO EAT ME! Only ML is keeping that leetle horror from putting barbecue sauce on my ankles and tucking into a dellllcious meal of sautéed Señor!
I first met her last week and at first thought she was my beloved Señorita Fine, but when she tried to eat my face, I had to come to terms with the sad reality of being stuck with The Terror.
ML says she is just a baby and will learn to love me, but so far it is very upsetting. I wanted mi amiga Fine, not Terror Maja. I even vomited up some of my precious dinner, I was so upset. That is why ML is fiercely defending my ankles today while still trying to teach baby Maja that I am not scary and will be her great amigo, if she would stop trying to eat me for long enough.

I do not know, though, what exactly happened. Today I lost my mojo and am actually afraid of her. She is so very tiny…and unpredictable! I find it easier to hide from her, de verdad.
ML figured this out today and let me go in the bedroom in peace, where I could start to feel more myself again, having a calming cuddle with Monkey.
Messy Maja is now home and I have my ML all to myself again: mucho mejor!

I am waiting for my TARDIS to be fixed. ML and I already had an aventura this morning when our querido leeeetle auto would not start. Pues we got to meet a nice man from the ADAC Pannenhilfe (that is emergency road service here in Germany) who gave the TARDIS a bit of a boost, and now we are at the garage while it gets a service.
The garage always thinks it is divertido, funny, that ML and I prefer to wait here than go home, but really it is MUCH more exciting for me here than at home. So many nice people come say “Hallo” to me and I get special garage water. This is the highlight of my week!

Ah, amiga Jac, I really feel that you and I are in tune on all important life opinions. Qué bonita, de verdad!
The TARDIS has now had its yearly service plus has a brand new battery to power our next adventures. ML also gave it a good wash and hoovered up some of our Cornish sand. Not ALL of our Cornish sand, mind you: it is muy importante for us to always have un poco of Cornbeefwall wherever we go.
With the exception of a few local adventures, the TARDIS’ next grand voyage will be to Italy in September. I am already laughing because we are right on schedule: one driving trip to Italy where ML swears that she will NEVER EVER drive in Italy again, followed by two trips with a backpack on the train where ML swears she will NEVER EVER travel like “a 21-year old with a much better back” again.
Pues…this year we start the cycle again where she takes the car and shouts VERY LOUDLY at everyone on the road who cuts her off. De verdad, from the back seat it is quite entertaining.

Ojalá, better days are coming, de verdad? If nothing else, it is now only 7 weeks until we go to Venice and 5 months until we can go back to Cornbeefwall.

Oh signór Carbón, you truly have the most hermosa and atractiva friends, verdad? And this is just a small selection, you surround yourself with the finest of two and four leggers - no wonder your ML is amongst the cream of the crop even though she is sad today.

Pues, exactly! That is my outlook on life and why I am such a happy gentleman. I do not dwell on the past - even five minutes ago - and I always find joy wherever I am. ML should be more like me!
Oh sí, tu castellano está muy bien, de verdad! Your Spanish is wonderful! Maybe better than mine, these days, as ML insists that we work on our German and Italian. Italian, ok, because it is important for me to be able to woo the pretty Italian señorita dogs when we are in Venice in September. But German? Pfft! It hurts my head! Más español, more Spanish por favor!

De verdad, amiga Jac, you understand the weight of my responsibilities. It is a hard job keeping such an ML on track. I am sure there could have been other MLs out there who would have been far less work for me! But I am un poco attached to this one, so I will keep her and do my best (which if I may say so as a humble Señor, I do VERY well).
