Carbon slays me. I'm working on unpacking my mound of disorganized belongings and not only has he not bothered my stuff, he has quite cleverly found all his own toys hidden throughout. Last night he found his old faves plus a special @Boogie pheasant and just now he found a horse I'd bought with Rose in Ireland and had forgotten about. What a toy addict..but not in a bad way.

If you don't think the doggy lederhosen would be well received amongst the Germans (although I maintain that regional "dress" is an exception given how proud Bavarians are) you should at least wear the Bavarian flag bando to all your citizenship interviews - it might actually help!

I've just tossed all my own stuff at it - duvet cover, pillow case covers and throws. I also moved a nightstand to the side to give it at least an illusion of an arm on one side. It's still as uncomfortable as heck, but it looks better. Carbon likes it, though - it's just the right size for one petite Labrador and as Rose in Kinsale knows, he's a fan of the 'lots of pillows' decorating style..
Carbon does have his Bavarian flag bandana but the foreigner's office might lock me up if I show up in dog bandana. But getting the human version - Bavarian scarf anyone - might just to the trick!

Ahhhh! Oops! NOW I understand.
Yes, he does look very dashing in his Bavarian bandana and I'm sure that would be appreciated by the foreigner's office staff. I used to bring Brogan in all the time, but that was before the refugee crisis and the advent of 3 hour plus queue waits. Now Carbon gets to stay at home in his comfy bed with his Kongs and stuffies while I queue up at 6am. Lucky dog!

Just a little shout out to Miss Rose and Curly Murphy who have been keeping tabs on Carbon and me here but haven't joined the forum yet. Rose thinks a cockapoo doesn't quality as a Labrador friend.

I was thinking about this. It needs to be light, collapsable and portable. Do you all think one of those pop up laundry basket things would work, or is that too tall? If Carbon knew what Christmas was, he'd think it had come early.
Megs a dally x lab x Collie, Pigs s pointer X lab. Charlies pointer x lab and his darling sister is a lab x poodle. Rory is obviously a lab x with an interior designer
